How we test our radiation protective clothing?

X-ray is a kind of radiation that is more damaging to the body, if not wearing radiation protective clothing, then it will cause several genetic diseases, infants and young children will also have mental retardation and other symptoms, affecting the normal life in the future.

So what is the testing process of protective clothing? Let me introduce it to you.

1. Appearance product quality testing. Apply visual ermeasure query under normal sunlight or 200lx light source standardization.

2. Product specification size measurement. Measured with measuring instruments accurate to 1 mm with a ruler.

3. Physical index experiment. The physical detection of radiation protective clothing can be divided into tensile strength, tensile elongation, and continuous bending of tensile breakage. Lead rubber is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GB528. Dumbbell-shaped type I samples were applied and the experimental stretching rate was 500mm/min±50mm/min. Lead plastic is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GB1040.

4. Hardness testing. Lead rubber is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GB531. Lead plastic is carried out according to the requirements of GB2411.

5. Tear strength test. Lead rubber is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GB/T529. Apply a right-angled sample without a cut with a stretch rate of 500 mm/min ± 50 mm/min.

6. Lead equivalent detection. The standardized lead sheet substitution method was applied to the ionization chamber type direct X-ray detector.

When the human body is doing X-ray verification, X-rays through the human body will ionize many molecular structures in the body and thus form a lot of bad effects on the human body, so wearing protective clothing is very important.
